It's not a good 'simple english' scp if it's confusing to a normal reader. This would just confuse someone.

The CN Branch is not completely a Simplified Chinese site. Although its main page is in Simplified Chinese, translated and original articles in Traditional Chinese are also allowed. So it should be "mainly simplified" instead of "simplified".

As a occasional editor for Simple English Wikipedia, I have to side with Simple English here. Simple English is great for people who don't know English too well (and everyone knows we have a lot of people like that). Though make sure it is actual Simple English if anyone makes more. The current one is, but I feel like some people might take this as easy karma. Simple English is surprising hard to do correct but really easy to do wrong. Anyone reading this that wants to do a Simple English translation should make sure to read the following Wikipedia page.
simple.wikipedia .org/wiki/Wikipedia:How_to_write_Simple_English_pages
(low-karma users can't post direct links here so I had to do share the link like this)

Hello! I'm Malachi Dreemurr, but most call me ML Dream. I'm here because I'm learning to get good at Japanese and the best way I've been told is to find a way to put it into application. SO I'M JOINING THIS! yay…?

Good idea, created an introduction category.

Re: Introductions! by Dr_GromDr_Grom, 07 Apr 2019 08:02

We have checked it and it appears to be indeed Simple English (the official one), so we decided to leave it for now. Maybe it is not necessary, but it also doesn't use up ressources^^

All the other sites have it. Why don't we?
A simple Introductions tab as all the other sites would be highly appreciated!

Is there any actual need for a Simple English? It feels… unnecessary and, well, out of place, too. I don't see any purpose for it. No hate to the guy who wrote the Simple English SCP-173 but I don't see any purpose for it.

I have adjusted the ZH-TR branch's content of the list if this offends the site rules please remove. I simply added Messenger link and a note about the branch.

Re: Language requests by WaterBrichWaterBrich, 23 Mar 2019 21:07

I have added you to the branch- and project list. SCP-TW will only be removed from the list upon request by SCP-CN themself.

Your wiki is brand new, we need to see some continuous activity before we can assess it.

Re: Language requests by Dr_GromDr_Grom, 20 Mar 2019 07:17

Hi I am new here. Me and my workmates are currently developing a new Traditional Chinese(TW or zh-tw) branch. As you might know, there are many former branches of Traditional Chinese users, but all of them have been abandoned by their owners, which is one of the reasons we decided to start a whole new one. So, my request is about changing the link of SCP-TW to the following: http://scp-zh-tr.wikidot.com/. The name of the branch is SCP-ZH-TR(ZH=Chinese TR=Traditional) to avoid potential protest from Chinese branch (political reason).

Please be reminded that I have made contact with LadyKatieLadyKatie but I haven't received any replies yet. Also, for the status of the new branch, we have a few articles of our own while the SCPs from mainsite are being translated and put into our site. The site itself looks better and better. Our final goal is to become an official branch.

Safe

Veilig

Item #:

Objectnummer?

Object Class:

classificatie, als in DE en FR
objectklasse, als in IT en ES

Special Containment Procedures:

Re: Laten we beginnen. by Scented_ShadowScented_Shadow, 11 Feb 2019 08:40

Safe —> Veilig of Safe
Meme —> Meem of Meme
